Card Payment Terms and Conditions

Information About Card Payment

Welcome to DSPS Card Payment Service. Your use of the Card Payment Service is governed by these terms and conditions. Your use of the website continues to be governed by the Website Terms of Use. Please read all terms and conditions carefully before processing a payment. By processing a payment on www.dsps.ie you agree to be bound by the Terms of Use and these terms and conditions.

DSPS operates a clamping service and vehicle removal service on behalf of Dublin City Council and we accept payment on their behalf. You can pay for your vehicle de-clamp or removal charge on this website.

Service Availability

While DSPS endeavours to ensure that the card payment service is normally available 24 hours a day, DSPS shall not be liable if for any reason card payment service and/or the website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to the website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in certain circumstances including system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond DSPS’s control.

Credit/Debit Card

A credit/debit card is required to make a payment through this website. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners and Laser. This transaction will appear on your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners and Laser statement as Dublin Street Parking Services.

Payment Process

You will be prompted to enter your ticket number. Payment will be initiated when you enter your credit/debit card information. The de-clamp process will be activated once the system validates the credit/debit card, processes the transaction to the card company.

Payments will be processed as efficiently as possible after payment information is submitted. Failure to complete the payment form accurately may delay or prohibit processing your payment.

De-clamping

DSPS aims to de-clamp vehicles efficiently and usually will do so within one hour following payment. However, on occasions it may take longer.

Security

Your payment will be processed in a secure environment. All information exchanged with DSPS servers will be encrypted.

Processing Fee

DSPS does not charge a processing fee for online card payment services. However, your bank may impose a charge on you.

Refunds

Refunds will not be processed over the internet. For information regarding a refund of an on-line payment, please email us at info@dsps.ie or by calling us on 01 6022500 during regular business hours. Proof of payment and the original parking ticket will be required to claim a refund.

Our Liability

We accept no liability for any loss of income or revenue, loss of business, loss of profits or contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, waste of management or office time or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

Access to and Rectification of your Personal Data

You may request in writing copies of your personal data held by us as the data controller. We will provide you with a copy of the personal data kept by us as soon as may be and in any event not more than 40 days after the request in writing. There may be a charge to access the information. All requests should be addressed to Dublin Street Parking Services at P.O. Box 9965, Dublin 2. If the information we hold about you is inaccurate, please let us know and we will make the necessary amendments and confirm that these have been made within 40 days of receipt of your request. We will only hold on to your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes of processing the card payment services and related services to you.
